This bill aims to amend the existing Mobilehome Residency Law to apply rent caps to all mobilehome parks, regardless of location. The current law only applies to parks located within and governed by two or more incorporated cities. The proposed bill would extend this coverage to all mobilehome parks, making rent increases subject to a cap. The cap would be the lower of 5% of the lowest gross rental rate charge or 3% of that amount plus the percentage change in the cost of living.
