This bill prohibits the use of state-owned property for immigration enforcement purposes. It specifically prohibits staging, assembling, mobilizing, or deploying vehicles, equipment, or personnel for immigration enforcement purposes on state-owned property. The bill requires state agencies to identify and post signage on state-owned property that may be used for immigration enforcement, and to use physical barriers to limit access. Employees who report actual or attempted use of state-owned property for immigration enforcement purposes must be reported to the state. The bill also requires state agencies to provide educational materials to employees, tenants, and security staff if federal agents enter state-owned property.
