This bill amends a California law regarding hunting. It repeals a prohibition on carrying firearms while hunting during the archery season for deer. Previously, only active or honorably retired peace officers were allowed to carry firearms during this time. The bill would now permit other individuals to carry concealed firearms while hunting during the archery season for deer.
