AB 2207: Hunting tags: transfer: youth program.
The bill aims to establish two new hunting tag transfer programs: one for transferring tags to children and grandchildren, and another for transferring tags to youth with life-threatening illnesses or permanent physical disabilities, as well as disabled veterans. These programs would allow individuals to transfer tags issued for specific species, such as antelope, elk, deer, bears, and bighorn rams, subject to certain conditions. The department of fish and wildlife would be responsible for managing these programs and collecting fees to cover costs. Revenues from these fees would be deposited into the big game management account.
