AB 2141: Pharmacies: license discipline: stipulated settlement and disciplinary order.
This bill would allow the state board of pharmacy to enter into a settlement agreement with a licensed pharmacist, waiving the need for an official hearing, as long as certain conditions are met. The pharmacist must agree to waive their rights to a formal hearing and submit mitigation and rehabilitation information. The board would then consider this information and extend an offer to the pharmacist to accept a settlement and disciplinary order. This agreement would need to be in writing and would require approval from the board. The settlement would be contingent upon the board's approval.
