The bill requires the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to disclose information about new contracts or contract renewals entered into on or after January 1, 2027, for services performed by civil service employees. The disclosed information includes a description of the services provided, the total hours expected to be worked by contracted workers, and the total contract value. The department must provide this disclosure to the exclusive bargaining representative of the affected bargaining unit at the time of contract entry or renewal. Additionally, the department must submit an annual report to the legislature starting from March 1, 2028, containing the required disclosure information.
