A statewide entity will be designated to develop and provide a training program about those rights, which must be offered starting july 1, 2026. Licensed family daycare home providers must complete the training within specified timeframes. The bill also removes the requirement for criminal, civil, or administrative penalties for violations of the new training requirements. The bill will take effect immediately as an urgency statute.
