This bill aims to expand cannabis licensure to include tribal governments. It allows a state licensee to engage in commercial cannabis activity with a tribal licensee if the department of cannabis control certifies that the tribal government has requirements for cannabis and cannabis products that meet or exceed state requirements. The bill further declares that its provisions align with the intent of the Control, Regulate and Tax Adult Use of Marijuana Act.
