What AB 2532 does, verified September 6, 2026

The bill amends sections related to cannabis labeling, packaging, and manufacturing. It requires edible cannabis product and beverage labels to include the national poison help line's toll-free number and clearly indicate if the product contains multiple servings. For beverages with more than one serving, at least part of the container must be clear or semitransparent to show remaining liquid and feature lines delineating individual portion sizes.

The bill also prohibits advertising cannabis beverages containing multiple servings as single-serve products or encouraging consumption of all portions at once.
