AB 2538: Medi-Cal: hospice providers: forms.

This bill aims to codify and recast procedures for hospice providers to notify the state when a Medi-Cal fee-for-service member elects to receive hospice services. The hospice provider must submit an online form within five calendar days after the member's election, along with counseling, informed consent, and a separate election notice form. The provisions apply only to the Medi-Cal fee-for-service delivery system. For Medi-Cal managed care, the hospice provider must follow the plan's submission requirements.
