This bill aims to advance the capabilities of California ports, harbors, and waterfront facilities to support the buildout of offshore wind facilities. The state energy resources conservation and development commission will establish and administer a program to support offshore wind infrastructure improvements. This program will help maximize the economic and environmental benefits of an offshore wind industry in California. The bill makes a nonsubstantive change to the existing requirement.
