AB 393: Personal services contracts: state employees: physician and psychologist positions.

This bill requires the state departments of corrections and state hospitals to take certain actions before entering into a personal services contract for a physician or psychologist position. The departments must prepare an analysis comparing the hourly cost of a contractor to a civil service physician or psychologist. The bill also requires these departments to submit an annual report detailing information about contractors and civil service physicians and psychologists to specified legislative committees.
