What AB 492 does, verified December 6, 2025

The state department of health care services is responsible for administering prevention, treatment, and recovery services for alcohol and drug abuse and problem gambling. A new requirement would be added, requiring the department to provide written notification to the city or county where the facility is located whenever a license is issued. The notification must include the name and mailing address of the licensee and the location of the facility.
