AB 610: Housing element: governmental constraints: disclosure statement.

This act amends the government code to require a housing element to include a disclosure statement regarding governmental constraints on housing development. The statement must identify new or amended constraints adopted after a certain date and before the housing element submission. This requirement aims to inform the public about potential barriers to housing development and promote efforts to remove them. The bill applies to all cities, including charter cities, and addresses a statewide concern. It does not require reimbursement for certain costs. The changes are operative only if the bill is enacted last and either or both of two other bills are enacted.
