AB 667: Professions and vocations: license examinations: interpreters.

This bill requires various state boards to include a section in license applications to identify an applicant's preferred written, spoken, and signed languages by January 1, 2027. Starting July 1, 2027, boards must review applicants' language preferences annually and determine if there is a substantial number of non-English-speaking applicants who require interpreter services. The boards must report these findings to the legislature by January 1, 2028, and annually thereafter to specified committees starting January 1, 2029.
