AB 703: California Pediatric Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund.

The bill allows an individual taxpayer to designate a specified amount in excess of their tax liability to be transferred to the California Pediatric Cancer Research Voluntary Tax Contribution Fund. This fund will be created to support cancer research and will be continuously appropriated. The tax return form will be revised to include a space for designating contributions to the fund. The provisions of the bill will remain in effect until January 1 of the 7th calendar year following its appearance on the tax return.
