AB 911: Emergency telecommunications medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles.

This bill would add a new section to the Health and Safety Code, relating to air pollution. The state air resources board has existing regulations that require the transition of medium- and heavy-duty trucks to zero-emission vehicles. This bill would exempt emergency telecommunications vehicles from these regulations, provided they are used for specific purposes such as participating in the federal emergency alert system or providing access to 911 emergency services.
