AB 945: Density Bonus Law: incentives and concessions: green housing developments.

This bill requires cities and counties to grant additional incentives or concessions to developers who propose green housing developments. The number of incentives or concessions initially set is three. The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will evaluate and report on the number and type of units and developments that receive these incentives. HCD will also maintain or alter the number of incentives or concessions as prescribed. Cities and counties must report annually to HCD on the quantity of green housing developments that receive additional incentives. Additionally, cities and counties cannot require green housing developments to include car parking.
