AB 95: California Education Interagency Council.
This bill establishes the California Education Interagency Council to evaluate workforce and economic changes in the state, aligning education and employment systems. The council will maximize funding impact, support adult skill development, and coordinate regional education and workforce needs. It will also serve as a forum for discussing intersegmental and cross-sector policy issues. The council will adopt strategic and work plans, report on its outcomes and recommendations, and provide advice on tools to support students across their educational careers. A faculty and employer advisory committee will be established to provide guidance. The bill also creates the Office of the California Education Interagency Council to support the council, ensuring its neutrality and administrative efficiency.
