<p>The bill amends sections of California's revenue and taxation code to extend the California Competes Tax Credit through taxable years beginning before January 1, 2035. It also allows taxpayers in strategic industries to elect a refundable tax credit from either the tax relief and refund account or the corporation tax fund for taxable years starting on or after January 1, 2026.</p>
