SB 1303: Naturopathic Doctors Act.

The bill amends sections of the Business and Professions Code related to naturopathic doctors in California. It extends the repeal date for certain provisions from January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2031, and adjusts term lengths for board members appointed by the governor after the bill's effective date. The bill also modifies license renewal fees: active licenses would renew at a fee range of up to $1,200, while inactive licenses would have a half-fee renewal option. It introduces requirements for naturopathic doctors to obtain fictitious-name permits and sets application and renewal fees for these permits at $100 and $50 respectively. Additionally, the bill repeals provisions allowing licensure based on pre-1986 graduation and passing state or Canadian province licensing exams.
