SB 1304: Respiratory Care Practice Act.
<p>The bill amends sections of California's Business and Professions Code related to the Respiratory Care Practice Act. It extends the operation of the Respiratory Care Board of California until January 1, 2031, increases license renewal fees to $330 (with a potential increase to $375), and removes an initial license fee provision.</p> <p>The bill also updates licensing requirements for respiratory care practitioners by mandating successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care’s Respiratory Therapy Examination.
