SB 1350: Energy: renewable electrical generation facilities: definition.

California · Senate · 2025–2026 Regular Session · last verified August 17, 2026

What SB 1350 does, verified August 17, 2026

This bill aims to revise the definition of a renewable electrical generation facility to include facilities that use turbines that use specified fuels. The definition currently only includes facilities that use biomass, solar thermal, photovoltaic, wind, geothermal, fuel cells, linear generators, and other specified energy sources. The bill would update the definition to include turbines that use these fuels, expanding the types of facilities eligible for renewable energy incentives.
