The bill aims to amend the common interest development act to improve the management and operation of condominium projects. It requires the board of an association to conduct a visual inspection of exterior elevated elements every 9 years, which must include a written report with recommendations for repairs or replacements. The bill applies this provision to buildings with 3 or more attached multifamily dwelling units, not just those with 3 or more multifamily dwelling units.
