SB 461: State real property: City of Imperial.

This bill authorizes the sale, exchange, or lease of a state property in Imperial to the city of Imperial. The property is the California Highway Patrol El Centro Area Office located at 2331 U.S. Highway 86, Imperial. The proceeds from the sale or lease of the property must be used to pay the principal and interest on bonds, as well as other costs. The sale, exchange, or lease is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. The proceeds will be deposited into the special fund for economic uncertainties, making an appropriation. The city of Imperial is deemed necessary to require a special statute.
