S 4909: Relates to the New York state masters-in-education teacher incentive scholarship program.
The bill aims to provide teacher incentive scholarships to eligible students pursuing a master's degree in education in New York State. To be eligible, students must have earned an undergraduate degree from a New York State college, been a New York State resident during their undergraduate studies, achieved academic excellence, and enroll in a full-time master's program leading to a career in public elementary or secondary education.
