WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th 1 General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Bay 2 School girls soccer team on winning the 2025 Division III State 3 Championship; and

WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 5 Bay High School girls soccer team have combined talent and spirit with 6 the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as 7 truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the Lady 8 Rockets have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency 9 in their sport, and as a result, they defeated a tough Badin team by 10 the score of 1-0 to win this year's Division III State Championship, 11 their second consecutive title and fifth such crown in program 12 history; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Rockets' achievements and leadership are a 14 justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the 15 players, their families, their school, their community, and their 16 coach, Scott Simpson. In leading his team to victory, Coach Simpson 17 has not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the 18 fullest but also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, 19 perseverance, and camaraderie; and
