A RESOLUTION

Honoring Huck Kurinsky on winning the 2025 USA BMX
Freestyle National Championship in the 9-10 age
division.

WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Huck Kurinsky as the 2025 USA BMX Freestyle National Champion in the 9-10 age division; and

WHEREAS, Huck Kurinsky's accomplishments are truly noteworthy, for he has clearly demonstrated his talent and perseverance, as well as his mental and physical fortitude as a BMX competitor. A fifth-grade student at Bay Middle School, he secured his fifth straight state championship before winning this year's USA BMX Freestyle National Championship in the 9-10 age division, his fourth consecutive national crown. Clearly, he has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship; and

WHEREAS, By developing such remarkable prowess in BMX, Huck Kurinsky has earned the appreciation of his fellow athletes, the devotion of countless fans, and the respect of even his most determined rivals. His outstanding record of achievement stands as a hallmark worthy of emulation, and he has inspired countless individuals to excel in numerous areas of endeavor; and

WHEREAS, BMX is a sport which requires exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Huck Kurinsky is to be commended for his commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining his athletic goals, he has certainly distinguished himself as a true champion;

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26 the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 27 tribute to Huck Kurinsky on his state and national BMX championships 28 and honor him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further 29

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 30 a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Huck Kurinsky. 31
