To recognize June as Fidelity Month in Ohio, for the
purpose of rededicating the state to the values of
faith, family, and patriotism.
WHEREAS, Ohio was founded on the principles and ideals of
liberty that gave rise to, are protected by, and are enshrined
in the Ohio Constitution and the Constitution of the United
States of America; and
WHEREAS, Among those principles, faith, family, and
patriotism have long been seen as crucial for the health of
American society; and
WHEREAS, Polls and peer-reviewed research from the past
decade indicate that support for these values is declining
nationwide; and
WHEREAS, The cultivation of such virtues leads to a healthy
and flourishing society; now therefore be it
