Honoring the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team on winning the 2024 Division II State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to salute the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball 2
team as the 2024 Division II State Champion; and 3
WHEREAS, Establishing a reputation for its skill and tenacity, the 4
St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball team is an impressive group of 5
athletes whose talent and teamwork are unmatched. At the 2024 Division 6
II State Championship, the squad seized the title in five sets against 7
a tough Anthony Wayne High School team, claiming its ninth such crown 8
in program history, and this victory will be celebrated for many years 9
to come; and 10
WHEREAS, The members of the St. Ursula Academy girls volleyball 11
team rose to the occasion and proved themselves to be a dynamic force 12
in high school sports. Truly, these outstanding athletes can be proud 13
of the accomplishments that were hard-won and deserved throughout the 14
2024 season; and 15
WHEREAS, By remaining faithful to the highest standards of 16
sportsmanship and teamwork, the members of the St. Ursula Academy 17
girls volleyball team primed themselves under the guidance of Coach 18
Gretchen Krumdieck to reach their full potential. Indeed, the Bulldogs 19
have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in all 20
of their endeavors; therefore be it 21
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 22

athletes and coaches for their tremendous prowess; and be it further 25

authenticated copy of this Resolution to the St. Ursula Academy girls 27
volleyball team. 28
