A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Waynedale High School baseball team on securing the 2025 Division V State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1 of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Waynedale High School baseball team 2 as the 2025 Division V State Champion; and
WHEREAS, The Waynedale High School baseball team is made up of 4 tremendous athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the 5 collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year's Division 6 V State Tournament, the Golden Bears won their third program crown in 7 four years with a score of 3-0, and the members amply demonstrated 8 impressive determination, maturity, and finesse in pursuit of this 9 achievement; and
WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young 11 individuals, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience 12 that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless 13 efforts of an exceptional Waynedale High School baseball team coaching 14 staff, including Coach Lucas Daugherty, as well as the support of 15 their Golden Bears community, these athletes have met the demands of 16 an extensive training regimen, and they have just cause for 17 celebration; and
WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Waynedale High School baseball 19 team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of 20 athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and 21 surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young 22 competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic 23 leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges, 24 they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained through 25 their participation in baseball; therefore be it
