A R E S O L U T I O N
Honoring Scott W. Stockman for outstanding service to the State of Ohio.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Scott W. Stockman 2
for nearly ten years of loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and 3
WHEREAS, Scott Stockman is an esteemed individual, for he has 4
combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to 5
become a dynamic member of the Ohio General Assembly staff. During his 6
tenure, he has been a legislative assistant for Senator Thomas Sawyer 7
and the constituents of Ohio’s 28th District and a senior policy 8
advisor, deputy legal counsel, and legal counsel for the Senate 9
Democratic Caucus, performing his duties with the utmost efficiency 10
and competence; and 11
WHEREAS, Deserving of high praise, Scott Stockman has given 12
generously of his time, energy, and abilities to assist the Ohio 13
General Assembly and has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to the 14
success of our state’s government. Indeed, he has provided a valuable 15
service by helping to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the 16
legislative process, and his work ethic has always reflected a genuine 17
interest in benefiting his fellow Ohioans; and 18
WHEREAS, Scott Stockman’s contributions to the State of Ohio have 19
been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of 20
working with him. He has displayed exceptional insight, dependability, 21
and integrity in his professional endeavors, and we offer best wishes 22
for health and happiness in his future; therefore be it 23

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Scott W. 25
Stockman on his exemplary state service and salute him as a fine 26
Ohioan; and be it further 27
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Scott W. Stockman. 29
