A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Dover High School cheerleading team as a 2025 OASSA Division 3 State Champion.

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to commend the Dover High School cheerleading team 2
on securing the 2025 Ohio Association of Secondary School 3
Administrators Division 3 Game Day Non-Building Large State 4
Championship; and 5
WHEREAS, The Dover High School cheerleading team is made up of 6
tremendous athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the 7
collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s OASSA 8
Division 3 State Tournament, the Crimson Tornadoes decisively won the 9
crown in the game day non-building large category, and the members 10
amply demonstrated impressive determination, maturity, and finesse in 11
pursuit of this achievement; and 12
WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young 13
individuals and signifies the acquisition of valuable experience that 14
is sure to benefit them in later life. The members of the Dover High 15
School cheerleading team have met the demands of an extensive training 16
regimen, and thanks to the tireless efforts of an exceptional coaching 17
staff, as well as the support of the Crimson Tornadoes community, they 18
have just cause for celebration; and 19
WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Dover High School cheerleading 20
team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of 21
athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and 22
surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young 23
competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic 24
leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges, 25
they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained through 26

their participation in cheerleading; therefore be it 27
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay tribute to the 29
Dover High School cheerleading team on its 2025 OASSA Division 3 State 30
Championship title and count its members and coaches among the ranks 31
of outstanding Ohioans; and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 33
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dover High School 34
cheerleading team. 35
