Honoring Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107 on its Centennial
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to applaud Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League of 2
America Chapter 37-107 on the special occasion of its One Hundredth 3
Anniversary, celebrated January 21, 2025; and 4
WHEREAS, This prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to 5
Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107, for over the past century, this 6
fine organization has endeavored to further its mission to protect and 7
conserve our natural resources as well as to inspire outdoor 8
recreation that promotes exploration and learning. Founded in 1925, 9
this chapter has evolved to be ranked as the largest of its kind in 10
the State of Ohio and has become a cornerstone of environmental 11
stewardship and community engagement; and 12
WHEREAS, The hard work expended by all those who have supported 13
Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107 over the years has been a source of 14
pride for the community and an outstanding reflection on the dedicated 15
people who have given readily of their time and abilities to further 16
the impact of the organization. Indeed, these individuals have played 17
an essential role in helping Ohio develop an identity that allows its 18
residents to take pride in what nature has to offer; and 19
WHEREAS, Tiffin-Seneca IWLA Chapter 37-107 has not only offered a 20
variety of programs for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and 21
youth to connect with nature but has also demonstrated good 22
environmental stewardship and community engagement. Indeed, its 23
profound efforts have made visiting the ten-acre scenic property along 24
the Sandusky River a valuable experience for many; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Tiffin-Seneca 27
Izaak Walton League of America Chapter 37-107 on its One Hundredth 28
Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing civic enhancement and 29
success; and be it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 31
