A R E S O L U T I O N

Honoring the Graham High School wrestling team on

securing the 2025 Division III State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Graham High School wrestling team 2
as the 2025 Division III State Champion; and 3
WHEREAS, The Graham High School wrestling team is made up of 4
remarkable athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the 5
collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s Division 6
III State Meet, the Falcons won the state crown, the twenty-fourth 7
consecutive title and twenty-sixth overall title in program history, 8
and the members amply demonstrated impressive determination, maturity, 9
and finesse in pursuit of this achievement; and 10
WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young 11
individuals, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience 12
that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless 13
efforts of an exceptional Graham High School wrestling team coaching 14
staff, including coaches Jason Knott and Jack Peura, as well as the 15
support of their Falcons community, these athletes have met the 16
demands of an extensive training regimen, and they have just cause for 17
celebration; and 18
WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Graham High School wrestling 19
team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of 20
athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and 21
surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young 22
competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic 23
leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges, 24
they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained through 25
their participation in wrestling; therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General 27
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Graham 28
High School wrestling team on its 2025 Division III State Championship 29
title and count its members and coaches among the ranks of outstanding 30
Ohioans; and be it further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Graham High School 33
wrestling team. 34
