AB 1546: Vehicles: driving under the influence.

This bill aims to amend California's driving under the influence (DUI) laws, increasing penalties for repeat offenders. If a person is convicted of DUI within 10 years of two separate specified offenses, they will face imprisonment in the county jail for at least 120 days and a fine. If they are convicted of DUI within 10 years of three or more specified offenses, their privilege to drive will be revoked for 4 years if the offenses occurred within 10 years of two specified offenses, and for 5 years if the offenses occurred within 10 years of three or more specified offenses.
