AB 1617: Household hazardous waste: reporting.

California · Assembly · 2025–2026 Regular Session · last verified August 29, 2026

What AB 1617 does, verified August 29, 2026

This bill amends the reporting requirements for household hazardous waste collection reports. The existing regulations require reports to be submitted by October 1 of each year, but this bill changes the reporting timeframe to the prior calendar year. The reports, also known as Form 303, would now need to be submitted by October 1 of the following year, rather than by June 30 of the previous fiscal year and October 1 of the following fiscal year.
