This bill would amend the California Food and Agricultural Code to reallocate funds from the fair and exposition fund to support various projects at fairs, including public health, fire and life safety, emergency services, and maintenance. The funds would be used to improve fairgrounds and ensure compliance with regulations. A portion of the funds may be used to develop and administer an operational framework for the network of California fairs. All available funds must be allocated to the network of fairs by December 31 of each year.
