AB 2045: Habitat Restoration and Enhancement Act.

<p>The Habitat Restoration and Enhancement Act allows project proponents to submit habitat restoration or enhancement projects for approval by the director of fish and wildlife. The director must approve such projects if certain conditions are met, and this approval replaces any other permits required from the department. The act also establishes a funding account for administering and implementing these projects. This bill extends the act's operation until January 1, 2032, and mandates that the department submit a report on its implementation to the legislature by December 31, 2029.</p>
