<p>The bill requires the Legislative Analyst's Office to assess and publicly report on California's progress in closing academic achievement gaps among pupils, starting December 1, 2028, and annually thereafter. The reports must include recommendations for actions the state can take to meet specific goals and benchmarks set by AB 2225 of the 2025–26 regular session. Additionally, the office is required to consult with education stakeholders in developing each annual report.</p>
