This bill aims to modify the requirements for childcare mental health consultation services. It would allow providers to be reimbursed for these services without using a specific relationship-based model, as long as the consultation includes at least one early care and education classroom observation tool per school or program year. This tool will inform the consultant's activities and support. The bill also maintains the existing requirements for conducting mental health assessments and screenings for adverse childhood experiences.
