AB 258: Fairs: allocation of revenues: gross receipts for sales and use tax.

This bill amends the food and agricultural code to increase the amount of gross receipts required to be included in the next annual governor's budget for allocation to fairs and that are transferred to the fair and exposition fund. The increased amount is from 3/4 of 1% to 2%. The funds are used to support fair operations and revenue allocation. The bill also updates the reporting requirements for tax returns filed with the department of tax and fee administration.
