AB 306: California Building Standards Commission: appeals: code interpretations.

This bill would amend various state building standards, including those related to building codes, residential units, and green building standards. From October 1, 2025, to June 1, 2031, it would prohibit cities and counties from making changes to building standards applicable to residential units unless a certain condition is met, including that the commission deems those changes necessary as emergency standards to protect health and safety.
