AB 360: Menopause.
The bill aims to improve menopause diagnosis and treatment in California. It requires the Department of Health Care Access and Information to assess physicians' education and training on menopause diagnosis and treatment. The department must work with medical boards and state higher education entities to identify gaps in medical education and training related to menopause. The department will prepare a report to the legislature by January 1, 2027, detailing these gaps and menopause diagnosis and management practices among physicians. This report will help inform efforts to enhance medical education and training on menopause.
