AB 366: Ignition interlock devices.

California · Assembly · 2025–2026 Regular Session · last verified December 8, 2025

What AB 366 does, verified December 8, 2025

This bill would extend the provisions related to ignition interlock devices (iids) until January 1, 2033, and reinstate the law to its previous state on that date. The existing law, which made changes to iid requirements and installation, would be reinstated. The bill would also impose a state-mandated local program by extending the application of certain provisions. No reimbursement is required for the costs associated with this bill.
