AB 788: Prisons: facilities for female offenders.

This bill aims to improve the treatment and rehabilitation of female offenders in California prisons. It would create a new division within the department of corrections and rehabilitation, responsible solely for female adult institutions and community facilities housing female offenders. The division would be headed by a director with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with female correctional populations.
