<p>This bill amends section 527.85 of the Code of Civil Procedure to allow a chief administrative officer of a postsecondary educational institution or their designated representative to seek temporary restraining orders and injunctions on behalf of the institution if they become aware of unlawful violence or credible threats directed at it. The bill also expands the definition of course of conduct for which such orders can be sought, including making telephone calls or sending correspondence (such as emails) to the institution, its employees, or students.</p>
