These requirements include enrolling in 12 or more semester units or the equivalent, completing upper division coursework for a baccalaureate degree, and either applying for federal student aid or the California Dream Act. The bill would allow eligible students to continue receiving fee waivers for an additional two years, enabling them to complete their degree.
