What AB 1420 does, verified February 3, 2026

This bill requires state agencies to review their proprietary state lands annually and report any land that is not currently being utilized or is underutilized for ongoing state programs. The report must include this land, regardless of whether it can be disposed of by sale or other means. The Department of General Services must submit the report to the legislature by January 1, 2030.
