AB 466: Public postsecondary education: Donate Life California: educational information.

This bill requires educational institutions to provide information about Donate Life California and the organ and tissue donor registry to incoming students. The institutions are responsible for disseminating the information in a manner that suits their needs and campus populations. Donate Life California will provide necessary resources to support the dissemination process. The bill also requires collaboration between Donate Life California and educational institutions on an ongoing basis. Reimbursement for costs mandated by the state will be made if the commission on state mandates determines the bill contains such costs.
